I needed bingo chips.
Fast.
I had a stack of paint chips and a 1/2" hole punch on my desk.
The light bulb went off.
Aren't they fun and colorful?!
My 5th graders loved them for our game of geology bingo.
If I made some again, I'd probably use a 3/4" or 1" hole punch instead, just to make them a little larger and easier to pick up.
I wouldn't recommend using these with little guys, because they aren't 3-D, they can be tricky to pick off the table. If you need cheap bingo chips, use beans instead.
But, if you feel like you need to practice fine motor skills with your little guys, these are great as counters, and you can use them to make patterns, or practice color sorting.

very cute! What a great idea. Paint samples are definitely something you can pilfer a little bit at a time so you don't have to spend money!
I am astounded by your creativity! This blog never ceases to amaze me, and continually encourages me to think outside the box, or the paint can in this case! : ) Well done, Morgan.
